We offer a range of custom-made mouthguard that is effective, more comfortable and can be re-moulded by our specialist orthodontist as your treatment journey progresses.
What are Custom-Made Mouthguards?
Our mouthguards are appliances that are made to fit your mouth and provide protection to your teeth and jaw joints against injuries that occur while playing sports.

At Batemans Bay Orthodontics, we recommend mouthguards for active children and adults, especially for boxing, soccer, hockey and football, as sport is one of the most common causes of dental injury.
What to Expect
Appointments

At the consultation, our dentist will examine your teeth and take impressions of your mouth for the mouthguard

At the next appointment, your new mouthguard will be fitted

Further appointments may be needed to check on the fit, for example, if there are any tooth movements in a growing mouth
How long it takes?

The consultation usually takes 30 to 60 minutes
